World Water Day 2025

March 20, 2025

World Water Day is observed on March 22nd each year to celebrate water and raise awareness of the 2 billion people currently living without access to safe water. A core focus of World Water Day is to inspire action toward Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: ensuring water and sanitation for all by 2030.

Addressing the challenges of water and wastewater management requires a more adaptable, efficient, and sustainable approach. At Hydroflux, we believe in More Fluid Thinking—creating tailored water solutions that help businesses optimise performance, reduce environmental impact, and future-proof their operations. Whether you aim to cut water consumption, enhance compliance, or lower costs, our team is here to support sustainable outcomes.

Driving Industry Sustainability

As Australia’s first carbon-neutral water treatment and technology company, we integrate sustainability into every aspect of our work. Through Cress Consulting, our in-house advisory team, we assist businesses in navigating climate risks, improving ESG performance, and developing responsible water management strategies.

Our focus is built around four key areas:

  • Carbon, Energy, and Climate Risk – Reducing emissions and enhancing resilience.
  • Water and Waste Management – Delivering smarter, more sustainable water solutions.
  • Health, Safety, and Expertise – Ensuring a safe, knowledgeable workforce.
  • Supply Chain and Community – Partnering for positive environmental and social impact.

This World Water Day, we reaffirm our commitment to safeguarding water resources and enable businesses to make smarter water decisions. By embracing More Fluid Thinking, innovation, adaptability, and collaboration, we can make real positive change.
