HyPURE® – Mitigating Pain Points for Industrial Customers

Industrial manufacturers rely on a source of water to enable the production of goods, as well as perform clean in place and general sanitation practices. These sources can be varied, including potable water, surface water, groundwater and seawater. There is also a growing trend for the recovery and reuse of wastewater for industrial processes.

Treatment of high purity water for industry is challenging. The reliable supply of process water is critical for any manufacturing process. The standard of treatment is often significantly greater than drinking quality water, particularly when treated water is used in the production of food and beverage products.

Reliability and efficiency are key for operating water treatment systems. Operating issues can cause pain points, which stem from unreliable water treatment processes. These pain points include excessive downtime, high operational labour and unnecessary maintenance costs. Production teams feel these pains, as it diverts their time and budgets from other infrastructure within the production facility.

High costs for energy and water are often additional pains which production teams are less aware of, since they may not realise what can be achieved by a high efficiency treatment process. The cost of water and energy within Australia and New Zealand are significant enough that investing in more efficient solutions provides favourable return on investment.
